  • Cycle up and down the Central road and explore the walking track on wheels. Cycles are complimentary.

AROUND Modi's Resort

  • Go trekking to the well maintained 2nd century Buddhist rock cut Kondana Caves. It is a comfortable 45 mins trek from Kondivade village, 35 min (15 km) drive from Modi Resort. Auto’s available. The caves have a Stupa, Viharas and stone carvings.

  • Trek / Drive up to the Tableland above Modi Resort. From a road opposite D Mart. The plateau seems unending and the view is breath taking. There are villages on the top of the hill. On Google maps shows up as “Karjat View point”

  • Visit the backwaters of Morbe Dam. 15 mins (9 km) drive from Modi Resort.
  • Visit the Shri Naminath Jain Temple in Karjat city. Beautiful marble carvings and wooden inlay in the flooring, 10 min (4 km) drive from Modi Resort.
